Welcome
To the Official & Only SAW Website!

Scottish Amateur Winemakers (SAW) is the organising body for Wine Making Circles and Home Brewing clubs in Scotland. SAW is a not-for-profit organisation which exists to provide guidance to its members in the craft of home winemaking and beer brewing. We also organise national wine- and beer-making competitions, and promote awareness of the social element of this traditional craft. We have strong relationships with various commercial organisations that allow us to acquire information and gain access to services that are normally closed to the general public and we also have good links with local Home Brew Shops, which in some cases permit us to obtain discount rates on ingredients and materials for our members.
